The fix is already in the development version.  I expect it'll be out next month.

I like this suggestion.  I'll get it into the next version.

When I select these to open I get a message "The project failed to load ..."

Would it also be possible to remove this entry from the Recent Project list when this error is generated? I ask because this is the behaviour with a number of other Fortran GUIs I have experience of and it always seemed very useful.
