Peter,

When you click the example, Simply Fortran opens a file dialog to ask you where you'd like to save the new project. Select an appropriate directory and save the project as "dislinex.prj" or something similar. Once you save the project, you'll be all set with the DISLIN example.

I realize this workflow isn't ideal. I'll try to think of a better way to work through the selection of examples.

I have the examples files visible when I start.
However when clicked I they go to a directory that doesn't have them.
Where are they?
