Jeff, you have two forums, ostensibly for support, and bug-reports.

I suggest creating a third, as a 'wish list'. At the moment, all suggestions and requests just mingled somewhat chaotically with support requests as well as an occasional bug report. We users forget what we've suggested or asked for, and I think some of our requests might occasionally slip through the cracks and get forgotten by you whilst you are trying to decide on ongoing development priorities.

Make a clear rule that ONLY ONE 'wish' be entered in each posting, and that comments on each posting stay strictly on-topic.

This will enable you to keep track of every idea, and either reject it or keep it live, pending whatever implementation, then finally close each thread when you decide. It will also enable forum members to keep track of what we've suggested and what your latest thinking and/or occasional progress reports are on each suggestion.

For everything you reject, you can just close the thread, with whatever explanation (if any) you care to provide. Everything you decide to leave open will imply to users that it remains a possibility for development, and this will encourage ongoing suggestions and discussion - one topic per thread.
---
John
