The known debugger crash behavior has been resolved as of version 2.5. There were some memory allocation/deallocation inconsistencies starting a debugging session that would result in a crash on certain machines.

If anyone sees any further errors related to the debugger, please do not hesitate to report them.

We've had a report of Simply Fortran crashing upon starting the debugger. Has anyone else experienced this issue?

If so, a patch is available at the moment. I'm looking for anyone experiencing trouble to give it a quick try. Contact me directly at jeff@approximatrix.com, and I'll send along a link to the patch for testing.
