John,

I didn't want you to think I had ignored this idea either. I'm not sure the double-click to close is the best idea, but I'll need to think about the quickest way to do so. How would you feel about a hotkey combination? Another idea would be an explicit close control on the tab itself.

Suggestion:

When I have multiple files open for editing, it would be a tiny time-saver which would add a bit to the slickness of SF if I could close a file by double-clicking its tab.
