Unchecking "All Static" now unchecks all suboptions automatically in the development version. It will be fixed in 2.17.

Interesting point. I'll see about unchecking the others when "All Static" is unchecked.

If I go into project options and uncheck static linking the click OK, then go into project options again the option is still checked.

Edit. I see now that checking this item just causes the other three items to be checked and greyed out, while unchecking it enables the other checked items. This is a bit confusing but is OK.
