I've noticed that, when trying to open an exiting project, if the path is not recognised, then FWIN.EXE crashes.

This happens to me because I use the excellent VSubst.exe to assign a virtual drive letter G:\ to the path to my Fortran projects directory and, occasionally, I reboot without VSubst.exe in my startup directory and the virtual drive remains unset. When I then try to open the recent project, "G:\InStruct\InStruct.prj," Simply Fortran just kicks Fwin.exe over, instead of muttering soothingly to me, "I'm sorry Dave, I can't do that right now"
----
With apologies to Mr Kubrick,
John
