			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Jeff,</p><p>When new versions are being installed, not <em>ab initio</em> but as updates, would it be possible for the installer to pick up a record of the previous installation pathname from the host system, to offer <em>this</em> as the initially-suggested re-installation pathname instead of the standard default, and to propose the latter only when installing for the first-time?</p><p>How important is this request?&nbsp; Well, with SF being updated about monthly, I reckon this would add to the free time I can expect still to remain at my disposal during the rest of my life by a <em>current rate</em> of about 45 seconds per year. <br />--- <br />John</p>]]></content>
