I'll have to look into it further.  There was a change to support XP better that apparently broke icons on other OSes. 

Including icons is not a pleasant process.

When compiling a program using SF 2.27 containing an icon (Project/Option) and the exe selected, the icon is no longer attached to the compiled executable file.  In SF 2.26, the icon attached to the compiled executable file just fine.
