We've released a new build of 3.20 that should include all necessary dependencies (hopefully). It appears that it wasn't packaging a crypto library and its dependencies correctly, causing Simply Fortran to attempt to use system libraries and failing.

Let me know if you run into any issues.

I assume you're talking about Simply Fortran 3.20. It sounds like a dependency issue on Ubuntu. We should package all necessary libraries, but, of course, Linux is a miserable platform for which to package software. I'll have a look and get an updated build ready.

I have installed SF 3.2 onto my linux machine running Ubuntu 20.04

When I try to launch it from the menu system all that happens is a tab opens up on the display, the spinning circle appears for a few seconds, then disappears, and the tab disappears.

When I launch it from a command line I get the error message error while loading shared libraries libssh2.so.1 no such file or directory found.

am I missing a library file some how ? any suggestions ?
