			<description><![CDATA[<p>No, you can have a program that uses standard input/output and opens graphical windows.&nbsp; Like the option says, clicking &quot;Windows GUI (No Console)&quot; simply disables the standard input/output (or &quot;console&quot;) for said program, meaning standard output unit Print and Write statements go nowhere.&nbsp; </p><p>But if you are making a <em>purely</em> graphical program, you probably don&#039;t want Windows to open a command prompt window every time you run it.&nbsp; That&#039;s all this option does: disable standard input/output if you&#039;re never going to use it.</p>]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[<p>I&#039;d intended (after getting data from user) to then represent the data graphicly.&nbsp; Are you saying that the program must be either a console program or a graphics program?&nbsp; Seems I should be able to open a graphics window after getting the data.</p>]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[<p>It appears that this program <em>was previously</em> an AppGraphics program.&nbsp; Make sure, in <a href="https://simplyfortran.com/docs/full/windows/options/project.html">Project Options</a>, that the <strong>Windows GUI (No Console)</strong> is unchecked.&nbsp; Otherwise, the program&#039;s print and read statements for standard output and input aren&#039;t connected to anything, which I&#039;m guessing is the case here.</p>]]></description>
