Topic: MATHGL: a scientific library for scientific graphics

Hi  There, I was wondering if MATHGL (http://mathgl.sourceforge.net/doc_en/Main.html) could be added to the package list available for SimplyFortran. It is a great library for  scientific graphics and large data handling. It has been around for a while with a continuous development support. I have tested it in fortran and works just fine. It can produce different outputs and 3D graphics in PDF.
It would be a great addition to SimplyFortran.

Regards

Carlos

Carlos,

I'll look at getting a package together for MathGL this week.  Upon first glance, I don't see any real problems with getting it up and running.   I'll keep you posted.

Carlos,

MathGL is now available via the package manager:

http://packages.simplyfortran.com/package/75.html

This version is built with support for GLUT widgets, GNU Scientific Library integration, and PNG export.  There might be a number of features users might want enabled.  Please let me know, and I can attempt to recompile with those features available.
