Topic: Auto-start option for stuff added to the toolbox

There's a tiny freely downloadable program from 'ntwind Software' that I have added to my SF toolbox menu, which scores equally highly on wo counts:
- its usefulness
- how catchy its name isn't.

It can be found at http://www.ntwind.com/software/utilitie … ubst.html.

I use it to set virtual drives called
F:\ for my Simply Fortran pathname and
   G:\ for my projects pathname.

It would be quite useful if we had an option, when adding tools like this, to have Simply Fortran auto-start them.

Re: Auto-start option for stuff added to the toolbox

When I first read this comment the other day, I was hesitant to commit either way.  While it sounds like an interesting idea, I was concerned about the complexity of instituting such a solution.  However, upon further thought, I don't think it would difficult to include.  In fact, most of the infrastructure is already present just to run tools as they do now.  Addiing a "Run at Startup" and "Run at Shutdown" would not be particularly hard to include with the tools.
