Simply Fortran has an exceptionally small footprint, if that's what you're asking. The development environment is a normal Windows application that should work wherever Windows runs. If you plan on doing any true editing, though, I would strongly suggest getting a keyboard.
Got it thanks
Can I install Simply Fortran on an iPad? My guess is no. But somebody told me yes because they claim that the iPad supports everything.
No, Simply Fortran does not work on an iPad. It will only work on macOS, GNU/Linux, and Windows.
We do have a companion product, WebFortran, that does work on iPads (or anywhere for that matter), but it has far fewer features, and the executables will run considerably slower since they are running in a virtual machine in the browser.
Thanks Jeff.
