Re: Gtk-Fortran
John,
I'm currently working on the first step, constructing a function Gtk+ package. Once that is complete, I'll get Gtk-Fortran working.

Re: Gtk-Fortran
Gtk+ is available now: http://packages.simplyfortran.com/package/23.html. I'll start working on getting the Fortran bindings packaged next.

Re: Gtk-Fortran
That's good new and bad news, Jeff.
Good, because it's great to have this GUI-support library available.
Bad, because i've now got to learn how to use it in SF !
Any good tips about where to begin will be most welcome.
(from anyone - it doesn't have to be Jeff!)
..especially about how to call the GTk+ library from GFortran.
Also, any chance that you could mount Gtk+x64 as well before long?
I always develop 32 and 64 together.

Re: Gtk-Fortran
Gtk-Fortran is now available: http://packages.simplyfortran.com/package/24.html
This build seems to be working well, but some bugs may exist in functions requesting/passing filenames from/to Windows. Most of them seem to be squashed.
It will probably be a long wait for the 64-bit packages. Gtk+ officially considers the 64-bit Windows builds "experimental." Additionally, PlPlot is not yet available for Simply Fortran in its 64-bit form.

Re: Gtk-Fortran
Will you be able to add GTK+ 3.x in the future?
Re: Gtk-Fortran
It looks like GTK+ 3 for Windows is completely possible. I'll look into adding the appropriate packages.

Re: Gtk-Fortran
Excellent! That's great news. They're pushing hard for everyone to move to 3.
Re: Gtk-Fortran
GTK+ 3.6.4 is now available for 32-bit projects. The 64-bit distribution should be available in the next day or two. Gtk3-Fortran bindings will be available before the end of January.

Re: Gtk-Fortran
After far too long a delay, Gtk3-Fortran is now available in the package manager:
http://packages.simplyfortran.com/package/61.html
This package only provides the 32-bit bindings. A 64-bit package will be available soon, but it will not provide PLPlot support due to PLPlot issues on 64-bit Windows.
I apologize for the delay if anyone was eagerly awaiting this package.
