Topic: SF 1.31 "caret width"

I downloaded SF 1.31. One of the features mentioned is "the width of the text caret is configurable from the Editor Options dialog."

Does anyone know what this means ?

I can find this setting in Editor Options; the default seems to be "2". I change it, say to 4, and click OK. I see no changes in the Editor, and in fact, if I re-open the Editor Options, it is back to "2".

Re: SF 1.31 "caret width"

It had me perfectly baffled as well.  Apparently it means the text cursor width, of 1, 2, or 3 pixels.
The only other addition I've as-yet discovered in 1.31 is the much-needed on-screen indication of what the syntax checker is getting up to.  Has anyone discovered anything else, because seems to be only a fairly minor update?

I sense from Jeff's postings on the forum that Approximatrix has more substantial improvements in the pipeline.

Thanks. You "caret" explanation now makes sense. I also don't see any other changes except the syntax message.
